Sunday, October 19 - LISBON-SANTAREM-FATIMA
Upon arrival in the Portuguese capital, we’ll be greeted by our SPIRIT TOURS tour escort. We continue via SANTAREM where, in the CHURCH OF THE HOLY MIRCLE, we view the venerated relic of the BLEEDING HOST then on to FATIMA. Tonight we join pilgrims from the world over in a candlelight procession. (D)

Monday, October 20 - IN FATIMA
Today we will attend a mass at the LITTLE CHAPEL OF THE APPARITIONS. Our guided morning visits include the BASILICA, the site of Francisco’s and Jacinta's graves; THE HAMLET OF ALJUSTREL where the children lived and VALINHOS, site of OUR LADY'S appearance after the children’s return from prison. Follow the stations f the Via Sacra to the CHAPEL OF CALVARY, commanding a spectacular view of FATIMA. The afternoon is free for devotions, revisits, and perhaps a visit to the FATIMA WAX MUSEUM, depicting the events of 1917. (B, D).

Tuesday, October 21 - SALAMANC
A We motor through the serene Portuguese countryside and cross into SPAIN on our way to the walled city of SALAMANCA. We stop at the PLAZA MAJOR, considered the most grandiose in SPAIN with its magnificent cathedral, and the HOUSEO F SHELLS, covered with scallop shells in honor of a pilgrimage to ST. JAMES in SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA. (B, D).

Wednesday, October 22 - ALBA DE ORMES-AVILA-MADRID
We depart SALAMANCA for ALBA DE TORMES where, ST. TERESA, a Doctor of the Church, died while returning to AVILA. Her body and relics are preserved in the CARMELITE CONVENT here. The religious atmosphere here has changed little since the days of ST. TERESA. Our visits include the CATHEDRAL, the MONUMENT marking her birthplace and her CONVENT. Later we continue to MADRID. A sightseeing of the Spanish capital features a drive along acacia-lined broad boulevards past PUERTA DEL SOL, EL RETIRO PARK, modern PLAZA DE ESPANA and concluding with a stop at the monumental PLAZA MAYOR. Thursday, October 23 - ZARAGOZA-LOURDES
We motor to ZARAGOZA where we pay homage to OUR LADY OF THE PILAR, commemorating her apparition to ST. JAMES, the APOSTLE. We view the revered statue, adorned with precious jewels, the gifts of many KINGS. Later we take in the spectacular mountain scenery of the PYRENEES on the way to LOURDES, where at the GROTTO OF MASSIABELLE in 1856 the VIRGIN MARY appeared to BERNADETTE. Tonight we join pilgrims from the world over in a torchlight procession along ESPLANADE. (B, D).

Friday, October 24 - LOURDES
After Mass at the famous GROTTO, a guided walk to the home of ST. BERNADETTE, the BASILICA OF THE ROSARY, and the UPPER BASILICA dedicated to the IMMACULATE CONCEPTIION and the BASILICA OF ST. PIUSX, the world’s largest church. The remainder of the day is free to visit the BATHS, where hundreds of miraculous cures have taken place, and to attend the BLESSING OF THE SICK. (B, D).

Saturday, October 25 - LOURDES-PARIS
Late morning departure by TGV (the world’s fastest train), which whisks us along the picturesque BORDEAUX wine region and chateaux country to PARIS. (B, D).

Sunday, October 26 - PARIS-MIRACULOUS MEDAL
We celebrate Mass at the MIRACULOUS MEDAL SHRINE, containing the incorrupt body of ST. CATHERINE LABOURE. We also visit the CHURCH OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL, CHAMPS ELYSEE, the ARC DE TRIOMPHE and the EIFFEL TOWER are the highlights on this morning’s city drive. We conclude with a visit of NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL. Then you are at leisure to sightsee, browse and perhaps visit the LOUVRE. (B, D).

Monday, October 27 - RETURN FLIGHT
The time has come to say “AU REVOIR” as we transfer to the airport for our flight HOME! (B).
